PurSolutions, LLC is one of the 12 recipients selected to receive LaunchTN Funding.
Nashville, Tenn. – On January 8, 2019, Launch Tennessee (LaunchTN) announced the 12 selected recipients of the Tennessee Small Business Innovation Research / Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) Matching Fund Grant program. LaunchTN is developed and funded by the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development to encourage commercialization of technology by small businesses across the state. PurSolutions, LLC was awarded a National Science Foundation SBIR Phase I grant for the development of novel educational resources, and is one of the 12 recipients of the LaunchTN Matching Fund Grant.
The State of Tennessee and Governor Bill Haslam started the grant-matching program to stimulate the state’s economy in 2017. To date, funds of $3 million have been given to 24 companies. Eight of the companies are led by women, veterans, minorities, or considered small disadvantaged businesses, like PurSolutions. The Matching Fund Grant has aided PurSolutions in establishing jobs and promoting the local economy.
